Despite this, Honorable Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot Ji has gifted another new park to the people of Jaipur before this Diwali. This new park of Jaipur will be built in two phases. Spread over 52 acres and built at the cost of Rs 110 crore, the first phase of “City Park” was inaugurated by Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot on 21 October 2022.

This new ‘City Park‘ spread over 52 acres in the Mansarovar area of Rajasthan’s capital Jaipur has been formally opened to the public. After the completion of both phases, it will become the second largest park after Jaipur’s Central Park. Housing Board Commissioner Pawan Arora said that in the first phase of this park, horticulture work, civil work, jogging track, etc. have been made, while in the second phase there is a big fountain square, 3 grand entry plaza, botanical garden, upper lake (water body), parking place and food court will be constructed.

Jaipur’s new “City Park” is based on the theme of New York’s Central Park and London’s Hyde Park. Earlier the dumping yard of the metro used to be here. the design of park has been designed like a golf court, where there is a small mounded garden. 17 sculptures made of stone and metal have been installed in the park, which is the center of attraction.
For the beauty of the park, small flower spots have been made here and 32 species of trees and plants have been planted. Different lights of more than 6 designs have been installed here. Apart from this, 120 state-of-the-art benches and 6 water points have been arranged for the seating of the people. A big fountain has been installed at the entry gate of the park, which will run in the morning and evening. Music will also play with this fountain. Apart from this, there is also a provision for 2 parking areas, Oxy Hub, and Rock Fountain.

3.5 km jogging track
In this park (new city garden in mansarovar jaipur), for the morning-evening walk the people, a 3.5-kilometer meter jogging track has been made. At the same time, the jogging track in Central Park is 4 kilometers. Music systems have been installed along the entire walking track, where music will be played in the morning and evening in low tones. Apart from this, there has been made a play area for kids, where children will be able to play easily.
At the inauguration of the City Park Jaipur (the new city garden in Mansarovar Jaipur), CM visited the grand entry plaza, domed steel structure, attractive fountain, and unique artifacts made in the park. A 20 feet wide and 3.5 km long jogging track has also been built in this park, on which people will be able to enjoy attractive lighting and music while touring. The park will also have 17 special types of artifacts made of stone and metal, toilet blocks, two parking areas, an oxy hub, a rock fountain, attractive and comfortable seats for sitting, drinking water facility. Also, the sewage water will be treated and used for irrigation in the park.
